Christian savages destroying the books, which actually would have been scrolls, of what was left of the Library of Alexandria at the Temple of Seraphis in 389 AD . Christian barbarians also are responsible for the destruction and conversion of the Serpaheum into a church, as well as the horrific murder of the great scholar, Hypatia of Alexandria. Monks tore off her clothes and ripped her skin off with oyster shells. Bishop Cyril, who is reported by ancient historians to have instigated this murder out of envy, was sainted by the Catholic Church.
Here is an except from a poem called "The Second Coming" by William Butler Yeats .Although written in the 1800's, it applies even more to our situation today...
"Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity."
Due to the glorifcation of ignorance and apathy, many of our people have become so negative and divorced from any idea of nobility and honor that they hate everything that is exceptional and revile merit. Many seek only to drag down anyone they feel might be superior to them, instead of striving to achieve themselves, or being proud of someone of their own folk who has. These unfortunate people are insecure and hate others and themselves. If we cannot replace this cultural marxist mentality with a healthy meritocracy again, and encourage our people to seek excellence instead of empty ego strokes, everything of value will be lost. Let's decide to be more, not less. (-;

Gerard Bechard Thought it was Muslims who destroyed the
library?
Seana Fenner von Fenneberg Muslims did destroy what had been
cobbled together to replace it much later in 642. AD.
